Courses for International students
In addition to over 2000 courses open to International student applications; we also offer special programmes to add to your existing qualifications, prepare you for further study or improve your English language.

English Language Programmes:
Our English Programmes are suitable for any student whose first language is not English. We cater for all ability levels from absolute beginner to advanced level for university study offering courses including: Intensive English, English Plus, IELTS Preparation and Summer School.

The focus at all levels is to work with the students on developing the skills needed in reading, writing, speaking and listening to improve their overall level of English and to provide them with the tools and expertise needed to succeed in their examinations and future careers.

Extra Academic English and IELTS Preparation are also an additional component of any further education programme, such as A-Levels at no extra cost. Your language level is essential to your study success and our experienced language teachers will assist you throughout your programme.

Our Summer School programmes run annually in July and August and offer students the opportunity to combine first-class English tuition with trips and activities visiting world-famous attractions, historical fishing ports and beautiful beaches around our breathtaking county. This course is an ideal learning holiday in the UK, or an excellent way for students to familiarise themselves with life in England, prior to further studies in September.

Pre-University International Foundation Programmes:
These programmes are ideally suited to students who want to follow a fast track path to university.

You will study with both international and UK students on modules that are broadly based with emphasis on examples from real life situations. Assessment is through a combination of coursework projects and final examinations.

In addition you will study Extra Academic English and IELTS Preparation enabling you to progress to undergraduate study with language proficiency and confidence.
