Plumbing Courses If you are Interested in working in a fast-moving and varied sector, then Property Maintenance may be the profession for you.

The first thing you will notice about this course is that it is about practical learning – you will be spending a lot of time in our workshop taking part on hands on learning as you develop skills across a number of trades.

You will be looking at everything: From carpentry, plumbing, plastering, electrical, tiling and learn about external building repairs. You will study and develop all the essential skills you need as a Property Maintenance Operative, carrying out maintenance and repair activities as you progress through the course.

Our workshops feature up to date industry-standard equipment for each discipline. A level 2 apprenticeship in Property Maintenance will give you all the skills, knowledge and behaviours to carry out your maintenance role to a high standard; whether it is in a care home, hospital, school, commercial premises, holiday park, town council or any of the other numerous possibilities.

You will be learning from experienced construction professionals who are there to give you the very best start to your career.

This two-year course will not only develop the knowledge and skills to carry out your role but will also develop your professional skills and confidence. There is a wide range of subject areas within Property Maintenance and these will be covered so you will develop valuable skills to call upon when maintaining building structures

Grade 2 or equivalent in English and Maths

You will be assessed through site visits from an assessor, online assessment, practical assignments and through multi-choice exams and a professional discussion.

What better way is there to get into a diverse construction trade where each day is different and challenging. It is also a great way to develop skills across several construction trades. This qualification could later lead on to a specialism in one of the trades covered. The construction industry has generous salaries in comparison to other sectors, with a skilled operative earning on average 30k a year.
