Course information
This programme is studied as a one year top-up from a relevant foundation degree, where you will complete Year 3 only.
Based at our Newquay University Centre campus you will have the opportunity to study a number of different modules relating to the ocean environment in which you practise your sport, including research into issues arising from the environmental impacts of marine sports and contemporary issues relating to the practice and development of a variety of marine sports.
As an academic course you will study a range of modules reviewing current practice and literature, and you will complete an Honours project culminating in a dissertation enabling you to become an expert on a topic of interest to you.
Alongside this you will explore the essential business, management, transferable and soft skills, which are key to graduate level employment.
Sustainability of marine sector sporting activities and environmental awareness will be considered alongside new and developing technology in the industry.
