Course information

A jar of different coloured pens for drawing This short course aims to teach you two things – how to train your eye to see the shapes of the things you’re looking at from your particular viewpoint and then how to get those shapes down on paper to make a convincing drawing. Practice in these skills will give you a sound working method to draw whatever subject you want.

This is an ideal beginner’s course for those who want to prepare for further learning.

You will be required to provide your own materials for this course and a suggested materials list will be provided nearer the start date.

You may be eligible to do this Tailored Learning course/workshop for free, or at a reduced fee, if you are 19+ as of 31.08.24, have been a UK/Ireland resident for the last 3 years, have not done this or a similar course/workshop before and have not done/booked on more than 2 Tailored Learning courses/workshops already for this academic year 2024/25 with The Cornwall College Group. Any material fees for courses/workshops will be payable in full. All fees payable when booking.

This course runs on a Wednesday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm for 6 weeks.
