Course information
This course will run over four Saturdays and is designed for beginners who want to learn the basics of Adobe Photoshop.
Over the course of four Saturdays, you will become familiar with Photoshop's essential tools and features, learning how to create and edit images, work with layers, and apply various effects.
By the end of the course, you'll have the foundation needed to start using Photoshop for both personal and professional projects.
By the end of this Photoshop course, you will have gained the essential skills to confidently create and edit images. Here's what you will learn:
• Photoshop Interface & Tools: Understand how to navigate Photoshop's workspace, toolbar, and panels efficiently.
• Working with Layers: Learn to create, manage, and organise layers, and use layer masks for non-destructive editing.
• Image Editing & Adjustments: Gain the ability to adjust colour, brightness, contrast, and work with basic retouching tools.
• Selections & Refining: Master selection techniques to isolate specific parts of an image and refine them with precision.
• Text & Typography: Understand how to add and manipulate text for design purposes.
• Creative Effects & Filters: Apply creative effects, filters, and textures to enhance your images and designs.
• Exporting & File Management: Learn how to export files for different uses, including web and print.
