Construction Multi Trade Bootcamp
The course has been designed to provide an introduction to carpentry as well as providing an opportunity to meet guest speakers from industry during the programme, therefore building bridges towards improved career prospects.
Studying the Construction Multi Trade programme will support you to develop your confidence, team skills, maths, communication, Health & Safety and employability skills. Delivery is 85% practical and 15% theory.
In construction you will learn how to handle tools safely and the requirements to pass the health and safety to aquire a CSCS card.
You’ll be learning from highly experienced trade professionals who are on hand to provide excellent levels of support.
What you will learn
This 10 week introduction to Construction will cover the use of hand tools, components and terminology used in the construction industry. You will learn how to produce basic construction tasks and put them into practice through practical application.
Entry requirements
Bootcamps are open to anyone 19 or over, who are self-employed, employed or unemployed. For those currently not in employed, you will be offered a guaranteed interview with an employer upon successful completion of the bootcamp.
