This T Level in Electrotechnical Engineering is a 2-year qualification that you can study after GCSEs. The course has been designed with leading businesses and employers to give you the skills you need to enter the workforce in a Electrotechnical Engineering role within the Building Services Engineering Sector.
This T level is equivalent to three A Levels at A* and is recognised by higher education providers if you wish to continue studying after successful completion.
You will spend 80% of your time at college in high quality classrooms and workshops, and 20% (315 hours) of your time will be on a work placement with an employer.
When you complete your T Level, you will get a nationally recognised certification which will include:
• an overall grade for the T Level, shown as pass, merit, distinction or distinction*
• a separate grade for the core component, using A* to E
• a separate grade for each occupational specialism, shown as pass, merit or distinction
• statements confirming completion of industry placements
It will also give details of what you learned on the course to help you move into skilled employment, a higher apprenticeship or Degree.
