Course information

This course is aimed at parents and carers to develop their confidence and skills in providing quality messy play activities for children. Parents and carers will have the opportunity to explore messy play activities in a fantastically resourced environment in the hope that it will increase their confidence to carry these out with children at home or in the setting.

Llearners will learn:

• activities that can be provided to promote messy play to children of different ages
• Safety when providing activities
• Development opportunities for children's learning
• How to use simple resources found around the home or setting to provide messy play opportunities

Home tasks will be set for practice and reflection

• L2 Early Years Practitioner • L2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools • Various L2 online courses as CPD or further study
