Course information
This course is aimed at parents and carers to develop their confidence and skills in providing music activities for children. Parents and carers will have the opportunity to explore music in a supportive and fun environment in the hope that it will increase their confidence to carry these out with children at home or in the setting.
Learners will learn:
• activities that can be provided to promote the use of musical instruments and music in general to children of different ages
• Safety when using music with children
• Development opportunities for children's learning
• How to use simple resources found around the home or setting to provide music to children

Home tasks will be set for practice and reflection.
