Course information
This course is a 1 to 2 year course for adults with learning difficulties which aim to help prepare you to better manage your life choices. It will enhance your independent living skills whilst also helping to improve your employability skills. This course helps to promote to independence, perseverance and resilience. It includes a focus on taking personal responsibility for yourself and your learning. Communication skills are embedded into all aspects of the course as are problem solving skills. This course also helps you to build your self-esteem in a supportive environment.
This course runs over 3 days per week. You may study 1 to 2 years depending on individual needs. As an adult you may be eligible to apply for the bursary to cover course fees.
