Course information

This online Level 2 Team Leading course will provide you with the skills and confidence to lead effectively, and tackle some of the common challenges in people management. This qualification will teach you the principles of team leading, how to use different styles of leadership to enhance your team's performance, and how to motivate team members to get the best out of them.

• Understand business
• Understand how to communicate work-related information
• Principles of managing performance and conflict in the workplace
• Principles of equality and diversity in the workplace
• Principles of developing working relationships with colleagues
• Health and safety procedures in the workplace
• Understand how to develop and deliver a presentation

Aged 19+ at the beginning of the academic year and will need to have the right to study in the UK and been a resident for a minimum of 3 years.

The qualification is assessed by internally set and marked assessments subject to external quality assurance. Where indicated in the unit specifications, assessment must meet the requirements of the identified assessment strategy/principles. Materials for internal assessment must be submitted to The Equal Platform for approval prior to use and must be mapped to the relevant unit, learning outcome and assessment criteria. All learning outcomes must be met to achieve a Pass – there is no grading.
