Q&A
What should I do if I do not receive any graduation information?
If you expect to graduate in 2024 and have not been contacted by the end of September, please contact the Graduation team. graduation@cornwall.ac.uk
How much does it cost to go to my graduation ceremony?
Attendance at graduation for graduating students is free. However, graduating students must wear academic gowns, which can be hired through the Marston Events website. Guest tickets are charged at £10 each and are initially limited to two per student. Extra tickets can be pre-booked when you make your initial booking. You will be notified by email after bookings are closed when additional tickets are available.
When should I arrive for my ceremony?
Registration opens two hours before each ceremony. Please leave enough time to arrive, register, collect your guest tickets and pick up your gown. We recommend you arrive no later than one hour before your ceremony. Late arrivals will not be admitted to the cathedral.
How long does the ceremony last?
Ceremonies are approximately one hour long. Doors to the cathedral will open an hour before the ceremony. Ceremony doors will close 15 minutes before each ceremony start time, after which time admission will not be allowed and tickets no longer valid. Please note that your guests sit separately from you to facilitate the conferment of the awards.
