Facilities
We don’t have halls of residence at Newquay University Centre but our accommodation team have worked closely with local landlords for many years to develop an established network of housing to suit all tastes.
The Learning Centre (LC) staff are information specialists who are here to help you with finding, using & assessing information in any format. Approachable, knowledgeable & friendly, we support you with:
- research & study skills
- Moodle (the College Virtual Learning Environment)
- finding books, journals, eBooks & eJournals
- using specific software
- avoiding plagiarism and creating references
What is available?
- Books (for your course and for reading for pleasure) and journals to borrow
- Study spaces for individual study and group work in a WiFi Hotspot to use with your own equipment
- Computers, laptops & tablets to use in the LC
