If you enjoy dealing with people and enjoy the social side of dealing with customers, then this is the course for you and will be your first step to a career in the Hospitality Industry.
Level 2 is ideal if you work in the food and beverage service industry in front of house, or you want to move into that role. You'd like to fill in any gaps in your front of house skills, perhaps to advance to a more senior position.
The first thing you’ll notice about this course is that it’s about practical learning – you’ll be spending a lot of time in the restaurant and our other outlets, learning by doing as you work.
You’ll be looking at everything: Different methods of food service, Health and Safety, Different types of Drinks available and the knowledge behind these, Payments, Money handling and Billing. You will be working within the college outlets dealing and serving everyday customers as you progress through the course.
As a Level 2 course, this diploma is all about introducing you to the hospitality industry and developing your essential skills. You’ll be learning from experienced professionals, who are there to give you the very best start to your career.
